The program is backed by over $1,000,000 in endowment funds to make sure the life story, images, photographs, writings and the contributions of friends and families are forever preserved!
ALL FAMILIES: The first step in the program is that every family that uses either Elm Ridge Cemetery or Elm Ridge Funeral Home has a listing on our website with a photo and information about the time and location of their service. This makes it easy for web visitors to obtain up to date information about the service without having to contact the family.
ELM RIDGE FUNERAL HOME FAMILIES: All our funeral home families receive a free Everlasting Memories package worth $595.
Biography: Includes an on-line biography (similar to an obituary) that is available to web visitors during the time of the service
Condolence Registry: An on-line register book with both private password protected pages and available to the public pages, allows visitors to post their condolences, thoughts, and prayers for the family to read. The family chooses whether to allow the public to see any or all of the register book.
This feature not only allows local friends and relatives to share their thoughts but also marks the first time that families who are not able to personally attend the funeral can make a personal and permanent contribution to the services.
Everlasting Memorial: This is both a DVD that is played at the service but is also a slide show and/or movie with music that is permanently stored on the web. Families may return again and again for generations to add, change, or reformat their Everlasting Memorial. There are many choices of styles, arrangements and music that makes a custom crafted Everlasting Memorial a reality to families even modestly familiar with computers. |
